๐Ÿ“ฆ Export, import, and share your records

Your data, on your terms. Download everything as JSON or printable PDF. Import from another device. Share a read-only link with a clinician.

โฌ‡Export all data

Downloads a single JSON file containing every PatientPower record on this device. Bring it to another browser via Import.

๐Ÿ“‹Export specific stores

Pick which records to include. Useful when sharing just one type with someone.

๐Ÿ“ŠExport as CSV

Open in Excel / Google Sheets. Pick a store to export. Best for arrays of records (labs, vitals, journal entries).

โฌ†Import data

Drop a JSON file from a prior Export, paste raw JSON, or paste a share link. Preview before committing.

๐Ÿ”—Generate a share link

Creates a URL with your data encoded in the fragment (#data=...). The data never touches a server โ€” it lives in the link. Anyone with the link can import it.

โš ๏ธSharing safety

  • Share links contain your data โ€” treat like a password.
  • The URL fragment is not sent to servers (it stays in the browser).
  • For long-term sharing, use Export โ†’ JSON file โ†’ encrypt + email instead.
  • For clinician sharing, prefer the Visit Packet PDF (printable, no link to manage).

๐ŸฉบVisit Packet (printable)

A 2-page handout for a clinician visit: page 1 = Emergency Card (essentials), page 2 = Health Summary (full picture). Open each, then File โ†’ Print โ†’ Save as PDF.

๐Ÿ“„ Open Emergency Card ๐Ÿ“„ Open Health Summary
Each opens in a new tab. Use the browser\'s print dialog to save as PDF. (Auto-bundled PDF coming in Stage 2.)
